DOWNTOWN
6 Weeks - 2 Years

Our nursery and toddler rooms are staffed with excellent leaders committed to the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of your children. On your first visit, we know that you can feel apprehensive about leaving your infant or toddler. Our volunteers have been chosen because of their love for babies, their ability to care for your child, and their commitment to provide a safe and excellent environment. Please bring diapers, bottles, pacifiers, and any special blankets that will soothe your child through the morning. You’ll want to label all items with your child’s name.

MIDTOWN
2 Years - Kindergarten

Our pre-school environment is a safe and fun area led by a great team of leaders. We believe in an active, hands-on approach to learning as your child learns about Jesus. Your child will enjoy singing, laughter, fun crafts, and games.

UPTOWN
1st-6th Grade

Our elementary environment includes a fun large group gathering with music, games, video, and teaching with friends and leaders. Kids will learn about God, and they’ll discover how to apply His word to everyday life.

SPECIALIZED ENVIRONMENTS

Each of our environments has a different curriculum, music, and activities that are designed to be age (phase) relevant, fun, and engaging for each child.

 

CONSISTENT RELATIONSHIPS

Each child will meet a lot of the same teachers, small group leaders, and other children, which will create excitement and comfort about attending 7 City Kids.

 

BIBLICAL FOCUS

We are committed to teaching children biblical truths and showing them how to live out those truths each day.

We want children to grow up loving God and loving the church! We work hard to create experiences, activities, and lessons that will be enjoyable and memorable for children. We want them to be excited about coming back.

SAFETY AND WELLNESS

CHECK-IN

Our 7 City Kids areas open 20 minutes prior to each service. When you first arrive, you will notice the 7 City Kids check-in area in the main lobby (we recommend you arrive a few minutes early to allow adequate time for check-in). We provide safe and secure registration and check-in to ensure that every child receives excellent care. We will ask you to complete a brief registration form, and then a member of our team will escort you to the appropriate kids environment. We will be happy to answer any questions you have about 7 City Kids.

 

SAFETY

Parents may escort their child to the appropriate room. To ensure the safety of all of our kids, we only allow approved 7 City Kids volunteers in each room. All of our volunteers have been background checked and provided with appropriate training.

 

WELLNESS POLICY

For the protection of all kids and volunteers, we follow a standard school/childcare wellness policy and ask that any child exhibiting the following symptoms not attend:

  • A temperature over 100.4 degrees

  • Vomiting or diarrhea (in the last 24 hrs)

  • Irritability and fever due to immunization in the last 24 hours

  • A sore throat and/or irritating cough that has persisted for more than 48 hours

  • Any undiagnosed rashes or eruptions of unknown origin 

  • Drainage in the eye(s), conjunctivitis, or pink eye

  • Common cold

  • Croup

  • Irritability and pulling at ears

  • Any skin infections - boils, ringworm, impetigo, etc.)

  • Childhood disease - scarlet fever, mumps, German measles, chicken pox, whooping cough, etc.

  • Parasites such as lice, mites, or ringworm

  • A runny nose with discolored mucous
